Psalm 91:1

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:1,2)

Jesus sat down and ate with sinners, prostitutes and tax-collectors, did he not?

Doesn’t mean he approved of what they were doing, but it also didn’t keep Him from loving them.

"I am so thankful that I have a joy that the world can not rob me of; I have a treasure that the world can not take from me; I have something that is not in the power of man or devil to deprive me of, and that is the joy of the Lord."

  • Me: God, why do you keep on loving me no matter how many times I fail? I couldn't count the times that I've ran away from you and denied you. I always fail, but you keep on saying you love me. How could you love someone like me?
  • God: Because it's never about you, child. My love is not affected by your failures or achievements. I love you because I am a loving God and my love is unchanging. Nothing could ever separate you from my love- not even your biggest failures.

"It doesn’t hurt to lose dead skin
that was once a part of you.
It shouldn’t hurt
to lose people
who are now nothing
but dead weights,
even if they were
once a part of you."
